First, Summer started off the year running a people-powered campaign for the people of Western Pennsylvania — 100% focused on moving our fight for racial, economic, and environmental justice forward.
Then, we went up against millions of dollars in super PAC attacks, and thanks to the power of the people, we won our primary and made Summer the Democratic nominee.
Next, the voters of PA-12 elected Summer the first Black Congresswoman ever to represent the commonwealth of Pennsylvania in a historic victory on November 8th!
Now, Summer's preparing to be sworn into the 118th Congress on January 3rd and to bring our fight for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal directly to the halls of power.
