Happy Hanukkah from ZOA, fighting for Israel and the Jewish people - like the Maccabees - for 125 years and going strong!

On this particular holiday, we celebrate the miraculous survival of the Jewish people, and the Maccabees’ success in defending Judea & Samaria and preventing the abandonment of Jewish life through forced assimilation and persecution. We urge you to never give up your Jewish faith and traditions, and never stop defending Israel and the Jewish people.

The ZOA is the ONLY Jewish organization that has been outspoken in opposing the many hostile-to-Israel appointees in the Biden administration; in speaking out against the opening of a dangerous, divisive Palestinian Arab-U.S. consulate in Jerusalem; and in calling for the lawful U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. We have also filed more legal suits under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act in defense of Jewish students than any other organization. The ZOA Center for Law & Justice spearheaded the effort to ensure that Jews are protected under the law, just as every other group already is.

Founded in 1897, ZOA played a key role in the Jewish State's re-establishment. Today, ZOA is the leading major American Jewish organization courageously defending Israel and the Jewish people; fighting against all forms of antisemitism, including anti-Jewish boycotts; and promoting the Jewish people's lawful right to live in and settle historic Jewish lands. ZOA exposes that a Palestinian state would endanger Israel's existence; presents the facts about the Arab/Islamic war against Israel; and combats the anti-Israel lie that Israel is an "occupier" of her own land. ZOA spearheaded long battles to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, and apply civil rights protections to Jewish students.
