I’m Lala Xu, the Data Director in Iowa. My job uniquely positions me to view both the finer data points and the larger picture on the ground. 

Both the data and my experience tell me the same thing: there are still a lot of undecided voters who need to be persuaded, and that’s the bulk of the work we have ahead of us.

I know we can win here. I see it in the data collected by our organizers and I hear it in the excitement of our supporters and volunteers. However, this race is a dead heat here in Iowa, and we still have a few weeks until the Iowa Caucuses. A lot can happen between now and then. 

If we reach $50,000 from every state this week, I know we can win Iowa, but if we don’t, we’ll spend every week up until the caucuses at a disadvantage trying to catch up.
