Hi there,
I wanted to take a moment to wish all who celebrate a happy Hanukkah.
This year, I’m looking forward to celebrating Hanukkah at home with my wife, Rebecca, and our sons Theo and Cameron, as well as joining in celebrations with friends and neighbors across the Hudson Valley.
On the first day of the holiday, millions of people across the world celebrate the Festival of Lights and hope for a bright future. Hanukkah is a reminder that we can persevere and overcome the most difficult challenges.
Whether or not you celebrate Hanukkah, there are powerful lessons to be learned from this holiday. It’s a season of giving and a time to gather with your community. The lights celebrated over Hanukkah can be a symbol of unity and solidarity against the troubles of the world. With rising antisemitism around the country and the world, these traditions and values are more important than ever.
I am wishing a happy Hanukkah to my Jewish family and friends. Chag Sameach!
Yours in service,
Pat
