I’m so proud of all the work this team did to defend and expand our Senate majority this cycle. But make no mistake: With the House of Representatives switching to Republican control next year, there are many tough fights ahead. 

We’re going to have to work harder and make more compromises in order to pass important legislation, but it’s going to be worth it. 

Trust me, I know how to win tough battles. In 2018, I won re-election in a state Donald Trump won by more than 20 points. I can get the job done, but I can’t do it alone.
