We’re not kidding when we say ranked choice voting could be the key to strengthening our democracy, making our elections freer and fairer, AND keeping extremists out of government.

Unsurprisingly, Republicans are DESPERATE to suppress the ranked choice voting movement so they NEVER have to give up power. So, we need to know:

Here’s how it works:

FIRST: On election night, votes are tallied in rounds.

NEXT: If any candidate wins more than half the votes, then they win the election.

BUT: If no one receives a majority, the candidates with the fewest first-place votes are eliminated.

FINALLY: These votes are redistributed to the voters' next preference until a winner emerges.
