Thanks to the generous support of members like you:
- EDF launched Air Tracker, a web-based tool that uses science and data to hold polluters accountable, drive policy changes and serve communities most impacted by dirty air. Air Tracker is now available in Houston, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Salt Lake City, UT, Birmingham, AL and Vallejo, CA, with more cities to come.
- EDF is raising awareness and working to ensure toxic lead pipes across the country are removed quickly, safely and equitably. To prevent harmful partial lead pipe replacements, EDF and Environmental Policy Innovation Center are calling for reviews to prevent discrimination, and tracking state funding activities.
- EPA is reviewing the national limit for fine particulate matter pollution. EDF advocated for more protective standards, which would save thousands of lives a year and deliver significant health benefits, especially for Black, Hispanic and low-income communities that face the highest pollution exposures.
- EDF successfully advocated for the Food and Drug Administration to upgrade its assessment of chemical hazards in food and reduce heavy metals in children’s food. Together, we can strengthen the regulatory system to ensure hazardous chemicals are removed from the food supply.
