Africa & Europe
Pray for IJM’s Ghana team as they build relationships with key partners to address labor trafficking of children into the fishing industry. They are planning to conduct trainings and are also in the early stages of a new project to introduce a police presence on Lake Volta in the form of a boat patrol. Pray for this new project to be an effective means of bringing safety and rescue to children trapped in slavery.
Latin America
As the year comes to an end, several courts around the region will either reduce hours or close due to the holidays. Pray that the cases our teams and trained partners are still supporting in court will move swiftly before the holiday and for peace for the families that continue to wait for a just response.
South Asia
Pray for rest and refreshment for IJM’s staff and partners across South Asia. This has been a year of big initiatives and changes, with many people in South Asia still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Pray that our team can fully step away from work and rest in the assurance of God’s grace.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the rescue of five minors from online sexual exploitation in the Philippines! Amid the rescue, the Women and Children Protection Center – Mindanao Field Unit successfully arrested one suspect. Praise God for the work IJM’s local partners are doing and pray for continued training and resources as they carry on the good work.

Please pray for our staff in offices around the globe as they celebrate the Christmas holiday. We are praying for a time of deep rest and reflection as we spend time with loved ones and remember the gift of Jesus being born. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
