John -

Republicans and corporations have spent decades campaigning against the labor movement. They've gutted workers' rights and weakened labor laws at every possible turn.

As Democrats, we believe in protecting working people's rights to organize and advocate for themselves. The labor movement is responsible for so many of the protections and rights that we have today.

That's why I'm proud to be running a campaign committed to the working people of South Texas, and I believe we should be putting more power in the hands of workers who have suffered decades of abuse from countless corporations.

The overwhelming majority of House Democrats understand this and agree, which is why 215 Democrats have co-sponsored the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

Noticeably absent: Henry Cuellar (again).

Join me in calling on Henry Cuellar to support the PRO Act. House Leadership just promised a vote on this bill within the next month, yet he is refusing to stand with working people on this issue.

This should be an easy vote for anyone truly committed to helping workers. This bill will give a voice to American workers by guaranteeing the right to organize and bargain collectively.

This bill has bipartisan support -- yet my opponent's campaign called it "a Christmas tree bill."

Once again, Henry's brand of 'bipartisanship' only applies to legislation that benefits his corporate donors, not working people.

We will not let him get away with that any longer.

Add your name: Tell Henry Cuellar to stand with working people and vote for the PRO Act.
