Part 2: Pertussis Vaccination
Nationally, pertussis-containing vaccine coverage is high—just shy of 95%—yet, by the CDC’s own admission, pertussis outbreaks are increasingly frequent. An average of over 25,000 cases of pertussis have been reported to the CDC every year for the last decade! In addition, many cases of pertussis go undiagnosed and, therefore, unreported.

Given the high vaccination rate and the known fact that vaccinated persons can transmit pertussis asymptomatically, it is important to dissect the spectacular failure of U.S. pertussis vaccination efforts in greater detail.

Vaccines–An Unresolved Story in Many Ways

40 years, Danish researchers from Statens Serum Institut and the University of Southern Denmark have shown that vaccines against everything from polio and smallpox to malaria and tuberculosis have both beneficial and harmful health effects that are unrelated to the diseases the vaccines protect against.

Now these researchers have put the research into a historical perspective that they hope can help to make the world’s health authorities realize that the relationship between vaccines and disease is not always simple.

Legislative Updates

New Jersey—ACTION ALERT
Thousands gathered this week for "Occupy Trenton" to protest a bill that would repeal the state’s longstanding religious exemptions to vaccination. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. gave an electrifying speech on the 6th. On the 8th, the NJ Senate voted to amend the measure to give private schools and child care centers the freedom to accept kids who aren’t vaccinated. thus securing enough votes to move the bill to the floor. On Monday, January 13, NJ legislators will vote on whether or not to repeal the religious exemption in NJ.

New York

On January 8, 2020, the first day of the legislative session and the same day as Governor Cuomo’s State of the State Address, parents and advocates joined Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at the Capitol in Albany, NY, to educate lawmakers on a slate of Democratic bills that would add up to twenty new doses of vaccines to attend school (including Merck’s globally controversial HPV vaccine), and eliminate the right of parents to know which vaccines their children are given.

Arizona
On December 11, 2019, State Rep. John Fillmore (R-Apache Junction) prefiled House Bill 2050, which would give parents of children who are “pupils” under Arizona law the sole right to decide whether or not their children are vaccinated. It would also prohibit schools from requiring that pupils receive the recommended vaccinations and prohibit schools from refusing to admit, or from otherwise penalizing, pupils who have not received them.

Global Protest Day to Stop 5G, January 25th

On January 25th communities, towns, cities and countries across the globe will join STOP5GInternational.org to raise awareness of the threat of 5G wireless technology. Events are planned in more than 30 countries so far, with more being added daily.

Their goal is to stop the deployment of millions of 5G antennas on Earth and 50,000 5G satellites in space, and to secure emergency high-level meetings with officials in governments and international governmental organizations including the European Union, the United Nations, and the World Health Organization.
