It is welcome news that, at this present moment, we will not be continuing an escalation with Iran. But do not allow that to lull you into a false sense of security.

We cannot trust this administration. They lie, they use their power to instigate conflict, and left to their own devices, they very well could try to drag us into a war once again.

That’s why Bernie and I introduced the “No War Against Iran” Act — so that any offensive action against Iran MUST go through Congress first. Will you become a citizen co-sponsor today?

We could be voting on this resolution as soon as today — but still, Trump loyalists in Congress are putting up opposition. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t already have a bipartisan call to action.

Republican Senators, deeply concerned with this administration’s most recent briefing on their strike, are already starting to peel off and support more restrictions. We genuinely have a shot to put in place measures to stop an international conflict.
