Two weeks ago, we announced our end-of-year drive to bring more readers into
the Prospect fold and continue reporting on the ideas, politics, and power of Washington and beyond.
This community has stepped up. We’ve had dozens of new members in the past two weeks, people who are passionate about keeping independent journalism alive and making the stories that aren’t covered by mainstream media available to the public.
But we can’t stop here. Following through on our values — paying our workers a fair wage, continuing our internship and fellowship programs to mentor young journalists, and ensuring our newsroom has the resources to pursue the stories that matter — requires a team effort, and we can’t do it without readers like you. Our members power everything we do here at the Prospect, and are the reason why our magazine can deliver so much to the public without corporate influence.
