Friend, We’ve never been more alarmed than by what we’re seeing right now. Just as our powerful racial justice movement has grown since the last election cycle, the reactionary right-wing movement to roll back our accomplishments has grown too. Their widespread attacks on voting rights and violent assaults on our communities and our democracy threaten us all. Hate is now firmly in the mainstream, and we require new strategies to track it and stamp it out. Today, the Southern Poverty Law Center is publishing groundbreaking research and launching innovative investigations that expose hate groups’ funding, use of technology, and the networks they use to influence policy and legislation that harms Black and Brown communities.
