We want to know what you think!

Hi Friend,

Politics and governance are about "The Three Ps" (policy, personality, and people), but binding all those elements together is "The Big V" – values.

Our values as individuals, as families, as communities, as a nation – that is what undergirds a country successfully grappling with its challenges.

And our values as a movement are what drive us towards our goals, while animating how we choose to get there.

All of which is to say: We need your help in defining what we stand for.

Part of the No Labels' 2024 project, as you know, is to put an insurance policy in place to be there if the American people demand a third choice in the next presidential election, to provide fresh, new, bold leadership that can bring the nation together if the major party nominees are destined to divide us further.

But our efforts also include putting our shared values front and center in the upcoming debate about where America should head next.

Determining and explaining what we believe – from our institutions, to our constitutional rights to our leaders to how we treat each other – is vital.

Please take a few minutes to add your voice to the mix and share your thoughts on how we can best define the common ground we share.

This is an essential part of the process as we engage the nation in a conversation about creating the space needed for less partisan division and more sensible, commonsense two-party solutions.

So take our survey right now.

Thank you for your help,

Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr. named National No Labels Co-chair
Sunday, January 22 at 5:00 PM ET

Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr., the iconic figure who served as youth coordinator to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and who remains one of the Civil Rights Movement’s most revered figures, has agreed to join Sen. Joe Lieberman and Gov. Larry Hogan as our national co-chair. This is just another sign of how our movement to unify the country is growing stronger.  Join us for an online “happening” where Dr. Chavis Jr. will participate in a national discussion about where our movement will go from here.

EXCLUSIVE INSIDER BRIEFING With Senator Evan Bayh
Friday, December 23 at 2:30 PM ET

Please join your fellow community leaders from around the country for a Zoom meeting on Friday, December 23 at 2:30 PM ET with former Indiana senator and governor Evan Bayh. Senator Bayh will explain the real story of the lame duck session of Congress and give us a special forecast of what to expect from Washington in 2023.

Five Facts on Continuing Resolutions

Congress has the responsibility to both set government funding levels and to authorize the actual spending of taxpayer dollars to fund government agencies and activities. But they rarely do either on time, which is why Congress has increasingly relied on passing something called a “continuing resolution.”

Congress May Be on Track To Safeguard the Election Certification Process

Many of the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, were convinced it was possible for Congress and the vice president to reject the Electoral College votes from some states and declare Donald Trump the rightful winner of the 2020 election. They got this wrongheaded idea from the former president and some of his lawyers’ reading of the vaguely worded Electoral Count Act of 1887, which set the procedures Congress uses to certify the results of presidential elections.

How Can Congress Combat Inflation?

The tip of the spear for the federal government’s fight against inflation is the Federal Reserve, the central bank of the United States. By raising interest rates, the Fed attempts to “pump the brakes” on the economy and slow down the pace of inflation. Congress has the responsibility to conduct oversight of the Fed to ensure they are responding to the needs of the American people.

Immigration and Finding Consensus on the Border

Under new legislation, the DREAM Act, U.S. border officials would receive billions in aid to beef up security along the border with Mexico while the bill would also provide a pathway to citizenship to the approximately two million undocumented “Dreamers” brought to the U.S. as children by their parents.
