Dear Kansas friends,
Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family.

In the new Congress, Republicans will return the House Oversight Committee to its proper role: rooting out waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in the federal government.
Read GOP Oversight’s plan to deliver accountability for the American people HERE
Democrats on the Oversight Committee have had ZERO hearings on the origins of the COVID-19 virus. Finding out the truth about the origination of COVID is vital to protecting families and communities from future pandemics.
The American people deserve answers and accountability.

Inflation is Crushing Kansas Families
Americans are struggling to keep up with soaring inflation caused by President Biden's failed economic policies.
REMINDER: Democrats voted to raise taxes on Kansas families in every income bracket when they passed the reckless Inflation Reduction Act.

Biden's Border Crisis is Only Getting Worse
President Biden was just in Arizona but refused to make a visit to the southern border.
He claimed, "there are more important things going on.”
President Biden has been in office 688 days and hasn't made one single trip to the border to assess the worsening national security and humanitarian crisis.
The Biden Administration has presented NO PLAN to deal with the influx of illegal immigrants coming across our southern border once Title 42 ends on Dec. 21.
Congress needs to provide our Border Patrol agents with the resources they need control this crisis.
Former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson once said 1,000 illegal migrant crossings a day would be a “crisis”.
Border officials are now preparing for 14,000 illegal immigrants crossing into America EVERY DAY once Title 42 ends.
Republicans will take action to secure the border.

Domestic Energy Production Will Lower Extreme Costs
As a result of President Biden's war on American energy, Kansans will be forced to pay ~25% more to heat their homes this winter—the most in 25 years.
In January, Republicans will work to bring down energy costs for Kansas families by prioritizing reliable, affordable, American-made energy.

Protecting Children from Online Exploitation
This week, I voted YES on the PROTECT Our Children Act.
This bipartisan legislation will help ensure law enforcement officers across our country have the resources they need to combat cybercrimes and protect our children from online predators.

Welcoming New Kansas Farm Bureau President to Washington
Great meeting with Kansas Farm Bureau's newest President and fellow Southeast Kansas native, Joe Newland.
I look forward to working together to prioritize the needs of farmers and ranchers across Kansas. Thanks for stopping by!

Deadly Fentanyl Seized in Our Community
Fentanyl continues to pour across the southern border and into our communities. Over 2,000 fentanyl pills were seized in Junction City last week—enough to kill hundreds of Kansans.
Thank you to the law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to keep this deadly drug off America's streets.

On December 15th, 1791, the Bill of Rights was ratified! This document outlines the fundamental God-given rights of all American citizens.
We must never take for granted the freedoms and liberties that make the United States of America the greatest nation on Earth.
