This November California Democrats elected Sen. Alex Padilla, re-elected Gov. Gavin Newsom, passed historic ballot measures like Prop 1, and while we didn’t add as many seats as we had hoped, your support protected 40 Democratic held seats in the House.  

This people-powered movement helped fend off a massive red wave.

And as we look back on the past election, it’s critical we not forget about the next one - because defending democracy and our values doesn’t end when the polls close. It’s a 24/7 job that requires careful coordination.

And that’s why across California, we are continuing to build a ground game, train leaders, and organize activists in our communities.
