Our nationwide network of scholars and educators works to pass along the American political tradition to the next generation. But is it making any difference with today's students? We are traveling to campuses to find out.

In this short video, two Clemson University students talk about what they are learning. Click to watch >> ([link removed])

Is it possible to restore the teaching of American citizenship that centers on America's history and foundational texts?

We are visiting campuses to hear students talk about what they are learning through our partner professors and campus programs. This fall, we visited Clemson University's Lyceum Scholars program.

In the video ([link removed]) , two of the students share their experiences directly from the classroom. These students' insights offer an example of what our scholars and educators are doing to teach and inspire students to learn more about their country.

At the Jack Miller Center, that is our mission. We believe in giving students at all levels the knowledge and the tools to engage with our nation's founding principles and history. To date, more than 1.65 million students across the country have learned about the American political tradition from our partner professors and K-12 teacher alumni.

Our network of over 1,000 college educators and programs span 47 states, and our K-12 teacher education initiative has expanded to 10 states. We can reach every state and tens of millions of students with your support.

Please, join us in the effort. Help grow our network of dedicated college educators. Give K-12 teachers the knowledge, content, and resources they need. Help us restore civic education grounded in America's founding principles and history.

While ongoing foreign threats to America are real, our biggest threat is an uninformed and often unpatriotic citizenry. The lack of understanding and appreciation for our founding principles is dividing the country.

Your donation, large or small, will be a crucial investment in the future of our country. This will be one of the most important inheritances you leave your children, your grandchildren, and their children.

About the Jack Miller Center
The Jack Miller Center is a nationwide network of political scholars, historians, and civics teachers who seek to pass along the meaning of America to the next generation.

We have three strategies to pursue this mission:
1. build and sustain a community of scholars in the fields of American political thought and history;
2. restore the teaching of American citizenship in K-12 schools that centers on the country’s history, the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and other foundational texts in the American tradition; and
3. partner with organizations and philanthropists to advance civic education that is grounded in America’s founding principles and history.

We are building a movement of educators and citizens to advance the principles of equality, liberty, and opportunity that lie at the heart of the American political tradition.
