America has a history of hatred that we cannot ignore and
have a duty to condemn. And over the last several years, we have
seen hate speech and hate acts on the rise--this is shocking and
deeply troubling.

We have seen this in Charlottesville, in increased hate directed at the LGBT community and in rising antisemitism. Real lives are at stake if we don’t stand up and stop it.

As a Jew, I feel a special responsibility to stand with my
neighbors from all communities to denounce the wave of hatred
that has claimed so many innocent lives over the past few years.
My whole life has been about building a more just, tolerant and
open society.

Join me in standing up against hate.

I was proud to join the No Hate No Fear Solidarity March in
New York City last weekend, along with members across the faith
community, to come together and stand up against the rising hate
speech and hate crimes we have seen in the past few years.

Times around us are tense, and as a country and global
community, we are more divided than ever before. We can’t allow
ourselves to be ripped apart by forces who want to sow hatred and
divide us further.

Click here to stand with me against hatred and for racial
and economic justice for all.

Thank you for standing up to the forces of hatred.
