Back in 2015, Republicans made Secretary Hillary Clinton sit through 11 grueling hours of questioning while they hurled false accusation after false accusation about the Benghazi embassy attack. Kevin McCarthy — who is now poised to become House Speaker, even admitted that the hearings were designed to weaken Clinton’s popularity ahead of her planned presidential run!
House Republicans are taking a page out of the old playbook and trying to play us again.

When Democrats controlled Congress, we used our power to pass legislation on issues that make Americans’ lives better — things like lowering prescription drug prices, addressing gun violence, and taking action on climate change. But Republicans don’t care about getting things done for the American people. So instead, their plan is to use their influence to tear down Democrats and gain favor with Trump and DeSantis.
There’s too much at stake to let them just get away with this.
