John,Â
Developments continue to rapidly be revealed in the case against former
President Trump as special counsel Jack Smith continues to seek answers
for the 2020 election interference and January 6^th. This week, several
subpoenas were confirmed to have been directed toward election officials
in battleground states, including the secretary of state for Georgia, Brad
Raffensperger.
While this process is undeniably slow, it’s important to understand the
core difference between those of the MAGA movement and the Department of
Justice: the rule and process of the law are honored.
And while the Trump campaign presented over 60 court cases in attempts to
overturn the election, the cases never resulted in any substantial
evidence of fraud or election tampering from the other side or on the part
of electronic voting devices. Nevertheless, they persisted in their
rhetoric, and it culminated on January 6^th. It also birthed a new era of
election denialism, as well as attempts to thwart the will of voters.
John, you know that this is what we are up against. You know
that while justice may not be entirely swift, it will prevail. And you
know, that as long as we are still an organization, this is what we will
be fighting against and pushing back on every step of the way.
Would you consider donating today to keep this mission alive and well? Our
efforts to harness rural votes, to elect honest candidates, and to make
sure that voices are heard is ongoing and never stops.
