Two days ago, we launched our crucial End-of-Year Campaign, and from now until the end of December, we’ll be going all out to meet our goal of $100,000 — a target we absolutely must meet to
sustain our operations into 2023.
The reason we launched this campaign on December 14 is that we know from experience that we’ll need at least a couple of weeks of fundraising emails and pop-up donation requests on our website to meet that goal.
But imagine if, instead of spending two weeks asking for donations, we could do it in just one day, or even just one email. That would mean fewer fundraising requests for you and it would allow us to get back to the hard-hitting progressive journalism you count on us for.
So for this fundraising drive, we wanted to try something kind of like that.
We believe down to our bones in people-powered, nonprofit journalism. We’re incredibly proud that we’re able to produce such high-quality daily news without taking a dime in corporate ad money.
