Nottingham Arboretum
Carlton Male Voice Choir and Nottingham's own Katharine Dryden will bring festive songs and carols to the Nottingham Arboretum bandstand this Sunday.
Starting at 12.30pm, the programme will be introduced by the Lord Mayor and will include seasonal readings and the chance to sing along to festive classics.
Hot drinks and mince pies will be available, so come along and enjoy the celebration and remember to wrap up warm.

Old Market Square
The Lord Mayor will join with the Nottingham Jewish community in the lighting of the menorah at 6.00pm at the Council House.
There will be free donuts, latkes, prizes for kids, music and a dreidel man.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Venues across the city
The council has teamed up again with the Nottingham Forest Community Trust to offer free Christmas holiday activity clubs for pupils in the city who receive free school meals.

The spectacular light trail is proving very popular and it's a sure-fire way to get into the Christmas spirit. As you walk along the path, new light installations appear, bringing a sense of wonder.??

Aside from the Christmas light trail, come and discover ?Ye Olde Christmas Past? experience with a self-led tour through the bowels of Wollaton Hall.
This immersive experience stimulates the senses, and you may bump into Santa or one of his helpers. Ideal for the whole family!
For some healthy fresh air, why not take the Outdoor Trail.? There are festive characters tucked away around the park. For ?2 you can get a map and some goodies to help you follow the trail, The map is available from the park's shop and caf?.?

Newstead Abbey
Delight in festive storybook scenes with Alice, the White Rabbit and many more well-loved characters as you embark on a self-led walk through our historic house.
This is the last weekend of the Newstead craft market, so it's the last chance to pick up a gift from the range of local handmade goods.?
There are still some places available on the Evening Tours of the Abbey on Fri 16 and Wed 21 December.

You've probably heard about the amazing Sky Skate elevated ice path that lets skater glide above the Christmas market stalls in Old Market Square. Well, grab a ticket and make it part of an evening out.?
The market is a great place to do a bit of shopping, with over 40 stalls you'll be able to find an exciting Christmas gift for family and friends.?
There are over 20 food stalls serving a wide variety of foods including gourmet burgers, Yorkshire Pudding wraps and vegan cuisine from Nottingham's own Filthy Vegan.? If you have a sweet tooth, there's treats galore including churros and crepes.

Visits to Santa this weekend has sold out but there are still some slots left for next week.
There is still time to pick up a beautiful Christmas tree from the wide range in stock, as well as seasonal plants like poinsettia and cyclamen for beautiful Christmas centrepieces.
Woodthorpe's Christmas Weekends continue with?festive music, food, and stalls in the greenhouses selling homemade goods and gift ideas. The market and shop are open from 10.00am until 4.00pm, Sat and Sun
