Dear John,
Can you believe we’re already halfway through December? This year has flown by! In January, we had no idea how historic the past twelve months would be.
First, thousands of Oregonians participated in the March for Life in Salem.
Then, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June.
And in November, we elected two members of Congress who will advocate for life for the first time in nearly 30 years.
In the Second Congressional District, Representative Cliff Bentz won reelection handily. Rep. Bentz is a longtime pro-life advocate. He’s set an example by supporting bills that protect innocent life and support mothers.
And for the first time in decades, we’ll have a second Oregonian supporting life-affirming legislation in Congress.
Lori Chavez-DeRemer flipped the Fifth Congressional District. This seat had been held by pro-abortion politicians since 1997 and was gerrymandered in an attempt to cement that trend. But Chavez-DeRemer overcame those challenges. We’re confident she will be an advocate for life in D.C.
Oregon Right to Life PAC worked hard this year to increase our pro-life representation in Congress. But we can’t accomplish these wins without support from pro-life advocates like you, John. Would you help us by taking advantage of Oregon’s political tax credit?
Use your political tax credit [[link removed]]
The political tax credit allows most Oregon taxpayers to donate $50, or $100 if married filing jointly, to a political action committee and have that amount credited to your taxes. These donations support the crucial work we do in electing pro-life people to public office. All you have to do is take advantage of the tax credit by donating to our political action committee.
Thank you for your support.
Because everyone deserves an advocate,
Lois Anderson
Executive Director
