Hi John,

We are writing to ask for your help with a critical issue. Congress has the power to protect the pathway to citizenship for DREAMers, and it is crucial that we take action now.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an important program that protects immigrants who came to the United States as children from being deported. These individuals, known as "DREAMers," have grown up in the United States and consider it their home. The program does not grant them official legal status, but it does allow them to apply for a driver’s license, social security number, and work permit.

There are nearly 3 million DREAMers in the United States, but only 600,000 are currently protected by DACA. This means that over 2 million people who have grown up and lived nearly their whole lives here may be deported if we don’t do anything about it – we can’t let that happen.

That’s why Suzan has called for urgent action to protect DREAMers before the end of the year and she needs your help.
