Dear John, Diversifying the affordable movement is crucial to our success: it’s how we ensure this work represents every community we serve, strengthens the range of talent driving our progress, and boosts the vision for a more equitable Bay Area from the inside out. Now is your chance to stand with the future of this industry. |

More about BAHIP The Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) is officially launching its sixth year of impact. Modeled after the highly successful Rural West Internship Program of the California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH), the program places college and university students from across the Bay Area at leading nonprofit affordable housing developers (that’s you!) – for a one-year, paid internship. As a host agency, you take concrete action toward increasing the industry’s racial equity and inclusion while benefiting from our interns’ unique insight and capabilities; as an intern, these leaders gain invaluable experience in affordable housing, real estate, and community development. |
