Happy Holidays from the Wyoming State Museum Staff & Volunteers!
Holiday greetings and warm wishes from our museum family! Thanks for a great year, and we wish you all the best as you embark on 2023.
Looking for something to do with your family and out-of-town guests this season? The museum is free, fun, and festive! We are open Monday-Saturday from 9 am until 4:30 pm (excluding Dec 26 and Jan 2). Visit any time to enjoy our holiday photo booth and learn about the amazing history of our region. Plus, see our temporary holiday display in the museum classroom! We are showcasing a selection of pieces from a very large collection of Department 56 ceramic houses, collected by Ms. Harriett Bonney over many decades. This display will be up through the new year.

Thank you, Laura!
Wyoming Humanities Council makes a huge impact.
If you?ve joined us for Family Days or scheduled a field trip, you might recognize Laura! With funding from the Wyoming Humanities Council, we were able to hire Laura to help us with planning, scheduling, and running many of our programs over the 2022 season. With this support, we were able to serve over 4,500 people with our Family Days alone. Thank you to Laura for all your hard work and to the Wyoming Humanities Council for supporting us!
