BREAKING NEWS:

President Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act, protecting marriage equality across the country!

This legislation is an INCREDIBLE victory for progress and equality – but far-right extremists on the Supreme Court are still scheming to undermine our civil rights. We must keep up this fight: Will you add your name to show your support for marriage equality and thank our Democratic majority for passing this landmark bill?

John, did you hear the news? Democrats in Congress sent the Respect for Marriage Act to President Biden's desk – and he's officially signed it into law! Now, every single state in the nation will be federally required to recognize same-sex marriages issued in other states.

LGBTQ+ activists have spent decades organizing and advocating for this type of legislation. It represents a transformative step forward – one that is far overdue. But at the same time that Democrats are moving our country into the future, ultra-conservative Justices on the Supreme Court are scheming to push us backward.

The Supreme Court is set to rule on major cases in the months ahead – and experts are warning that their rulings could undo years of progress. The ultra-conservative radicals in the majority have made it clear that they're going to do everything within their power to undermine all the rights we care about – LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, reproductive rights, and so much more.

So even as we celebrate the Respect for Marriage Act, we cannot step off the gas even for a moment. That's why we're asking 10,000 Democrats across the country to make their voices heard for civil rights and progress. So please, add your name before 11:59 p.m. to thank Democrats for passing the Respect for Marriage Act and tell the Supreme Court that you won't go back – no matter what.
