Upcoming Roadworks

Friday 10 January - Tuesday 14 January: Bobbers Mill Bridge
Lane closure while Cadent conduct emergency works to repair a gas escape.

Saturday 11 January - Sunday 12 January: Canal Street junction with Carrington Street
Lane closure outside Cafe Nero while new electricity supply is fitted.

Sunday 12 January: Heathcote Street junction with Lower Parliament Street
Lane closure while new electricity supply is fitted.

Sunday 12 January: Mansfield Road
Bus lane closure outside 365 Mansfield Road while new electricity supply is fitted.

Sunday 12 January: Shakespeare Street junction with North Church Street
Lane closure for traffic signal works

Monday 13 January - Friday 17 January: London Road and Trent Bridge (city centre)
Inside lane closure while Cadent excavate to identify location of an unknown gas plant.

Monday 13 January - Saturday 18 January: Queens Drive
Outbound lanes between Dunelm and the junction of Castle Bridge Road will be closed from 8pm - 1am for resurfacing.


⚠️Major Cadent Gas works⚠️

Monday 6 January - Friday 29 May: Sherwood Rise (Forest Fields/Carrington)
Sherwood Rise closed from junction with Gregory Boulevard to Claremont Road for major gas main replacement.

  • Sherwood Rise will be accessible (primarily for buses) for the first two weeks, 6 Jan - 20 Jan under two way lights. This is expected to cause delays so please use alternative route if possible. 
  • Sherwood Rise will close for all traffic from Monday 20 January.
  • Mayo Road and Claremont Road one way for the duration of the works to help with local access.
