I know that this year didn’t go the way a lot of us hoped it would. And no one wants to be told to keep fighting when that’s all you’ve been doing this whole time.

But Kim Reynolds and her cronies would love nothing more than for all of us to decide that it’s not worth it to work toward a better future for every Iowan, leaving her to plan her coronation as Supreme Leader of Iowa.

Call me petty, but I just can’t let Kim have that satisfaction.

The Iowa Democratic Party is not perfect, but we can continue to make it better. If we work together and support each other, we can fix the cracks and build something that lasts and continues to improve.
