Meet the people you’ve helped us to protect
This year, you helped us to run innovative digital campaigns in Ukraine, Türkiye, Greece, The Philippines and the United Kingdom. Thanks to you, we have been able to prevent trafficking on a global scale and protect many vulnerable people who could be at risk. Here is a little more information on some of them.
Preventing trafficking of those fleeing Ukraine

We worked with our partners and collaborators across multiple sectors to deliver a prevention campaign that has reached over 4 million people across 19 countries, in 9 languages, signposting to over 30 support organisations.

Preventing trafficking of refugees in Türkiye

In Greece and Türkiye, we are running our ground-breaking Aman Safety campaign, which aims to raise awareness and prevent human trafficking of refugees and asylum seekers as they seek sanctuary. It delivers safety information about organ trafficking and sexual exploitation to asylum seekers and refugees in Istanbul.

Providing information on how to find a job abroad
Based on the success of our 2021 Overseas Filipino campaign, STOP THE TRAFFIK Group identified the need to target individuals in the Philippines considering moving abroad for work with safety information. We ran an upstream campaign, from March - August 2022, providing information on how to find a job abroad safely, which fees to pay, tips to mitigate the risk of exploration, and which organisations to contact for support.
Preventing labour exploitation in the food and agriculture industry in the UK
Project Fair Life was a two-pronged project aimed at preventing labour exploitation in the food and agriculture industry in the UK. One aspect was a social media campaign geo-targeting at-risk communities, and one was a secure data-sharing platform for the Modern Slavery Intelligence Network, a collaboration of retailers and suppliers.

One Romanian national responded and told us it was the first time she had seen her rights in the UK in the same language.
You have helped us to make a big difference

Our prevention campaigns equip some of the most vulnerable people around the world with the information they need to stay safe from potential exploitation.
