Our 2022 Campaign Victories

Amazon

Industry Giants Commit to Green Energy

Amazon, AT&T, and Verizon have gone from using no renewables to making some of the largest corporate commitments to clean energy ever.

Climate Victory Gardens

15,000+ Climate Victory Gardens Registered

Whether it’s to fight the climate crisis, boost mental health, or combat rising food costs, Climate Victory Gardens have nearly doubled since 2021!

CVS Pharmacy

CVS Now Offers Digital Receipts to All Customers

Our Skip the Slip campaign got CVS to offer digital or no receipt options to all customers, saving 87 million yards of receipt paper.

Carters Clothing

Carter's Commits to 100% Sustainable Cotton

Our Toxic Textiles campaign moved Carter’s, the largest kids' clothing company, to commit to making 100% of its cotton and polyester sustainable by 2030.

Industry Victories

Fairphone Joins the Toward Zero Exposure Program

Smartphone maker Fairphone joined Apple, Dell, and HP in committing to work towards eliminating high priority toxic chemicals and protecting workers from these chemicals. We are working with these companies and other electronics companies to support them in using safer chemicals in electronics production to protect millions of workers from exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Soil Carbon Initiative

Soil Carbon Initiative Launches Farm Pilots

We launched the Soil Carbon Initiative (SCI), the first independently verified, regenerative agriculture certification program open to all farmers along the food supply chain, and its pilot program representing over 3 million acres of farmland.

TAKE ACTION

Tell EPA to Enact Protections Against Methane

President Biden and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have taken a critical step towards cutting methane and other harmful pollutants from the oil and gas industry, but more needs to be done to confront the climate crisis head-on and protect the health and safety of communities across the country.

Manchins Dirty Deal

Tell Your Senator to Block Manchin's Dirty Deal

Senator Joe Manchin’s “Dirty Deal” is back and, if passed, would put front-line communities at greater risk and increase greenhouse gases by “streamlining” the approval process for fossil fuel projects. The senator wants to dismantle the policies in place that are meant to protect communities and mitigate the climate crisis. We need to stop it ASAP.
