Because of citizen pressure from people like you, Ohio lawmakers appear to be shelving HJR6 − at
least for now!!!!
Since the start of the campaign on November 29, members like
you have stood up to speak out against House Joint Resolution
6 (HJR6) - a constitutional amendment that would raise the threshold
to pass citizen-led Constitutional Amendments on the ballot.
This is how we helped to break HJR6's
momentum:

House Joint Resolution 6 will have to be refiled when the
135th General Assembly starts in January — meaning it’s unlikely to
appear on the May 2 statewide ballot. That would push it until at
least August 8 and perhaps to November 7.
When that happens we will be ready to fight! Please help us fund our campaign to protect direct democracy
in Ohio.
