It’s been a busy 2022 at VoteRiders — together, we reached more than 5 million voters with the voter ID assistance and education they needed to vote with confidence!

But our work never stops. The truth is, the kind of deep engagement we do in communities happens year-round. We have to earn voters’ trust, form lasting partnerships, and do the time-consuming work of obtaining documents and helping people navigate the barriers they face getting an ID.

That’s why I’m excited to announce our ambitious goal to raise $25,000 by December 31! We will put these funds to use right away helping people in states with strict voter ID laws get the assistance they need before the next election.

Your tax-deductible gift helps eligible voters get the ID they need to cast a ballot with confidence:

• $35 provides one voter with a ride to the DMV or other ID-issuing government office.

• $50 funds the cost of securing a vital document (such as a birth certificate) for one voter to obtain a voter ID.
• $500 covers the cost of a virtual phone bank or text bank in one state to follow up with voters who are at risk of not having a valid ID to vote.
• $1,000 sponsors a Voter ID Clinic program in a state with strict voter ID laws.

We need to start now if we want to be sure every eligible voter can participate in the critical 2024 elections. Make a generous contribution toward our year-end goal and get our 2023-2024 efforts off to a strong start!
