URGENT ACTION NEEDED: A national treasure is under attack, but YOU can help
protect it! Act now to save Avi Kwa Ame!

Avi Kwa Ame is home to ancient Joshua trees, dramatic mountain peaks, and the
desert tortoise. Its natural springs, canyons, and grasslands provide habitat for many species found nowhere else on Earth. Rock art and cultural sites also mark the land as historically and spiritually
important for local Indigenous people.

But until Avi Kwa Ame is designated a National Monument, greedy developers are working to DESTROY this land and its history for profit. President Biden is close to making an official decision -- a final push from
environmentalists like YOU could help save Avi Kwa Ame before it’s too late! Tribal groups are calling on President Biden to protect Avi Kwa Ame. Amplify
their voices by taking action by 11:59pm TONIGHT! >>

[[link removed]]Avi Kwa Ame is the source of life for 10 Yuman-speaking tribes. It holds
cultural importance to the Hopi and Chemehuevi Paiute people. And it’s a
designated Traditional Cultural Property on the National Register of Historic
places. This land, its history, and its meaning to local people is INVALUABLE.

Making Avi Kwa Ame a National Monument would give it the same protections from
the fossil fuel industry that we give to our National Parks. And we’re so close
to making that happen. If just 1 of every 8 people reading this email take action, we can help push
President Biden to protect Avi Kwa Ame. Will you help preserve the cultural and ecological significance of this
national landmark by adding your name before 11:59pm TONIGHT!?
