Did you know that in 22 states, people still have to pay sales tax on period products?

It’s called the “pink tax” and it’s well past time we eliminate it!

Several states have already made things like tampons and pads exempt from sales tax.

But in nearly half of all states, period products are taxed between 4% and 7%!

Taxing products that are essential to everyday life is discrimination, and it means that low-income people, many of whom already struggle to afford essential products, are hit the hardest.

It’s long overdue that it ends.
