Join Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) in calling on Congress to pass important immigration legislation to protect Dreamers, migrant farmworkers and Afghan nationals in the United States. The lives of these immigrant sisters and brothers of ours hang in the balance as they hope that Congress will prioritize the passage of key immigration bills to provide them with permanent legal status and other protections before the end of the year.

As CCUSA continues to ask Congress to include these protections in year-end measures, we urge you to contact your members of Congress and ask them to support the following immigration bills:

The Farm Workforce Modernization Act (H.R. 1603), which will improve the H-2A visa program to uphold the dignity of foreign-born farmworkers, who contribute their time and skills to sustaining the U.S. farming industry and to feeding America.
The Afghan Adjustment Act (H.R. 8685/S.4787), which will provide our country’s Afghan allies with the documentation and status they need to rebuild their lives in the United States and invest in the prosperity of our communities.
The American Dream and Promise Act (H.R. 6) or other legislation that will ensure a pathway to Lawful Permanent Resident status (i.e., Green Card) and citizenship for all Dreamers, to enable them to fully participate in society with dignity.

Tell Congress to enact these measures before the end of the 117th Congress.
