I recently paid another visit to the southern border with some of my colleagues, and what I saw made my blood boil.

Because of Joe Biden and his administration’s reckless policies, we are now in the worst border crisis in the history of our country. Secretary Mayorkas can lie under oath all he wants to, but we know that our border is not secure.

In fact, under their failed leadership, our southern border barely exists anymore. With Border Patrol unable to do their job, drug cartels are operating without resistance, women and children face the dangers of trafficking and assault, and synthetic opioids are pouring into our country at an alarming rate.

Fortunately, with Republicans taking back control of the House, we will work to bring some accountability to the White House. Americans deserve to know the truth about what’s going on at the southern border, and I will work as hard as I can next Congress to make that happen.
