** Welcome to the Third Day of the 15 Days of Ballotpedia!
------------------------------------------------------------
Each day, we are celebrating a different part of Ballotpedia’s mission to showcase the ways in which we impact our country by educating citizens about politics and policy in a neutral, trustworthy way. As a 501(c)3, our work is not free to produce and we invite you to join us in providing all voters the information they need in 2023 and beyond. ([link removed]
We have an ambitious goal - to raise $100,000 this month! Please join thousands of other Ballotpedia readers in helping us achieve this goal ([link removed] and provide our reliable and accessible content to voters around the country.
** Policy and Ballotpedia
------------------------------------------------------------
As a Ballotpedia reader, we know you count on us for better ways to engage politically so that you can improve your communities, know what is happening in your backyards, and understand what policy issues are really about- without the spin.
Within our policy work, we aim to cut through the political jargon, the euphemisms, and the fractious rhetoric. Our always-on team of writers clarifies complex issues to give people like you information they can quickly understand and use.
Policy can be complicated and controversial, and research takes time, time that everyday voters don’t always have. Ballotpedia works to provide fact based information in one place so our readers can navigate the complexities and get the facts they need.
In 2023, we will continue working to deepen our policy coverage work from the administrative state to education to Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) investing and public pensions and beyond, building out our coverage of key issue areas.
There is a vital need, particularly today, to ensure that Americans have access to a trustworthy and reliable source of information that explains complex policy topics and the ever-shifting landscape of the public policy arena.
To successfully accomplish this, we need your support ([link removed] to continue developing detailed coverage of public policy issues at every level around the country.
Best,
Leslie Graves
