The establishment narrative managers want you to believe that the Twitter Files are inconsequential. They in fact reveal an environment at Twitter of regular government censorship and an activist staff that truly believed that the censorship they were handing down was righteous and was their duty. And other social media companies are going to have the exact same kind of environment.
They reveal that partisan Twitter executives violated their own policies to prevent the spread of accurate information about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
The response of establishment media of attacking journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss makes it obvious that these tools of government censorship that we call mainstream media know exactly what they're doing.
The second drop of information revealed that Twitter has teams of employees that patrol and secretly blacklist, keep tweets from trending, hand out shadow bans and de-prioritizations.
The Twitter Files expose a large number of intelligence officials working as executives and senior staff. We already have had some inkling of this, but they reveal details and depth.
And they show plainly that partisan Twitter employees knew Donald Trump's last two tweets had not violated the rules and that even though multiple key staffers (including the safety team) declared there was no incitement, Twitter executives twisted rules and even ended up making their own rules to ban a sitting US president.
When you combine these revelations with the revelations about media collusion that came from Hillary Clinton and John Podesta's emails in 2016, the ruling Democrat party has the ability to lie, to have media cohorts spread that lie for them, and then censor those who debunk their lies, censor all dissent, to use that control to effect election outcomes, AND THEN to spread the notion that anyone challenging the validity of the 2020 election is a radical extremist that is trying to destroy "democracy", despite the fact that Hillary Clinton and Democrats have spent the last 6 years challenging the validity of the 2016 election by blaming it on Russia and despite the myriad Democrats that said the 2000 election was stolen from Al Gore.
Some Democrat voters are just fine with this because they like their party, they loathe Donald Trump and they loathe voices that challenge the Democrat party from the left. But while these people are enjoying their views being the accepted views of the establishment, when the other political party comes into power and uses these tools against the Democrat Party, these same people will cry "Fascism!" as if it just happened out of thin air and they are just innocent victims of it.
The liar-in-chief has signed a bill that forced rail workers not to strike for better pay and paid sick days. The rights of workers to strike is crucial, but it is perhaps not shocking that a man who billed himself as the most pro-union president ever is crushing workers' dissent. This is the kind of thing that turned the rust belt against the Democrats. Why did your representatives for this? I think that we should all be alarmed at how authoritarian this country is getting.
