I have to be honest with you, team. This isn’t your normal December.

Next month, the new Congress will be sworn in and we’ll officially have a Republican House majority. They’ll throw every piece of radical legislation at the wall to see what sticks, and I’m doing everything I can to fight back.

I’ve had enough of the Republican Party’s divisive tactics and I know you have, too.

Unfortunately, even though Democrats had a strong showing in the recent midterms, Republicans still managed to secure the House majority. This means that they’ll be able to bring radical pieces of legislation to the floor.

From raising the age for Social Security to stripping reproductive freedoms from women, we need to be prepared for whatever is thrown our way. I’m prepared to defend Nevada’s working families and to take on this new GOP majority no matter how big the hurdle. I’m asking you to please stand with me in this fight – I can’t do this without you.
