Hi John,
What was your first reaction to Roe v. Wade finally being reversed? Did you cry tears of joy? Did you thank God? Could you even believe it!?
Right after the ruling, I recall looking at my young kids and thinking: They’re the first generation of children to grow up after Roe.
It was an incredible moment!
But this moment didn’t mark the end of the fight for life. The heartbreaking fact is children are still dying every day because of abortion. And many in the pro-life movement are sitting on the sidelines...
Many pro-lifers assume the rescue mission is now over. Apathy has kicked in. Advocacy has quieted. And donations have slowed down as many pro-lifers have stopped giving after Roe.
The truth is Roe’s repeal did not end abortion in America – it simply ended the federal mandate. Each state can now decide whether to allow the killing of children in the womb. And so far, only about 13 states protect children in the womb. That means that right now… abortion is widely available in 75% of the country.
That’s not even all of it, John.
Most of America not only allows abortion but restricts it less than almost every country in the world. Only seven nations permit abortions at or after 20 weeks of pregnancy: Canada, China, the Netherlands, North Korea, Singapore, Vietnam – and the United States.
Children in America are still in grave danger. They still need you to fight for them!
To defend children in the womb, a generous group of donors gave $750,000 as a Challenge Grant. And they are challenging YOU to join in and help DOUBLE the lifesaving impact of the grant.
While Roe’s repeal has lulled many in the pro-life movement to sleep, it has only motivated Planned Parenthood and their supporters. They are fighting back harder – and they’re winning.
Planned Parenthood is raising and spending more money. They are receiving more government funding. And they are performing even more abortions according to their most recent annual report.
Just a few weeks ago, they also announced they are expanding their footprint by preparing to open a new clinic in Missouri, the first state to ban abortion after Roe fell.
They are also pushing the use of the abortion pill and encouraging abortion trafficking (where the abortion industry is rushing moms across state lines to kill their children). Some states are calling themselves “abortion sanctuaries.” These states are no sanctuary.
John, your support is crucial to stopping Planned Parenthood’s recent momentum. And thanks to the Challenge Grant, any gift you give today will help DOUBLE the lifesaving impact when combined with the grant – protecting more children from Planned Parenthood’s deadly grip. Will you give today to turn the tide back to life and rescue TWICE as many children? www.HumanCoalition.org/End-of-Year
People just like you have been working for 50 years to protect life. But now is NOT the time to stop. You’re still needed! That’s because children’s lives are on the line. And they are worth fighting for!
You and I must press ahead…to make abortion unthinkable and unnecessary in every part of America. Will you double down and give to rescue more children today? www.HumanCoalition.org/End-of-Year
Thank you for all you do to protect the most innocent among us!
God Bless,
Chelsey Youman
National Director of Public Policy
P.S. — The reality is many pro-lifers have retreated from the fight for life since Roe’s repeal. But the rescue mission is not over… and children remain in grave danger. Would you give today to rescue more children from abortion – helping DOUBLE the lifesaving impact? www.HumanCoalition.org/End-of-Year
