Friends, thanks to the support of this grassroots team, we are mobilizing more than
200 youth and allies for our Week of Action in Washington, DC.
We’re driving calls and sending letters to members of Congress who have the power to deliver, and we’re taking action all across Washington, DC this week — from rallies, to vigils, to this jumbotron we have near the Capitol at Union Station:
Today, we’re even hosting a Lobby Day at the Capitol, where we’ll visit the offices of members of Congress to speak with them and their staff directly about the urgent need for permanent protections before the end of the year.
Even though Congress is feeling the pressure from our relentless advocacy, we’ve still got so much work to do. We will not let up until we secure permanent protections for all undocumented people.
We can take a major step toward realizing that goal by winning a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients and immigrant youth before the year ends and a new Congress is sworn in.
