Double your gift for children like Samad*
John, as we celebrate the holidays and look ahead to the new year, it’s critical to recognize all of the families who have had to flee their homes and seek refuge. Half of the world’s 100 million refugees are children who have already lived through unimaginable conflict and persecution.
One of these children is 14-year-old Samad. Samad and his family had to flee Afghanistan in the midst of conflict, joining their father who lived and worked in Ukraine. However, their stay was short-lived.
Six months after their initial resettlement, the horrific war in Ukraine forced them to flee again – this time to neighboring Romania. Now, they’re staying at a reception center, where our teams are providing advice, food and other essential resources.

There are millions of children around the world like Samad still in need of such critical care, and we’re working every day to provide them with the support they need. But we can’t do it without you.
We’ve set a goal to raise $100,000 to provide more children with resources and care – but this match opportunity is ending soon, and we’re still waiting on your support.
Please, rush a donation today. A generous group of donors has donated to a matching gift fund, which is matching every gift until our $100,000 match fund is exhausted, so your gift can go TWICE as far for children in need.
