We wanted to reach out directly to you today, John, to update you on our efforts and, yes, to ask you please consider contributing to them.

The reason why most grassroots organizations come up short is because of months like this one. December is the perfect storm of a long hard-fought election that has come and gone with both wins and losses under our belt. The majority of people are in full-scale Holiday mode or wrapping up any business they need to before the end of the year.

So naturally, political donations become an afterthought, but those of us here at No Dem Left Behind aren't done when the elections are over. Our staff is thankful to say it is a growing mission, working round the clock to change the narrative and the conversation in rural America. Most people believe our mission is too difficult so they don't even try.

You, John, are not one of those people and for that we thank you and we count on you as a partner in our work.

The truth is we were expecting the numbers to drop a little, but never a drop like this. We are worried, and that starts to impact our work whether we want to admit it or not, we are all human.

So, we are asking you today to chip in if you are able to and really consider making it monthly because we have to keep fighting to win over hearts and minds. We have to paint that electoral map from red to blue. We have some big challenges ahead, and with you by our side, we know we can get it done.
