Once you've identified a funding opportunity that may benefit your organization or community, you should carefully review the eligibility information outlined in the solicitation.
Each year, some applicants make the mistake of applying for a grant without ensuring they are eligible.
For example, if a solicitation lists "other" as an eligible applicant, that doesn't necessarily mean any other entity not specifically listed in the solicitation is eligible to apply. Carefully review the Eligibility Information section of the solicitation to determine if you qualify.
