End Trafficking, Before It Starts
Help Protect Children This Holiday Season
|
|
Nearly 30 years ago, ECPAT-USA was founded as the first anti-child trafficking organization in the United States seeking to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children. This was prior to the passing of the 2000 Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), which provided the Federally recognized definition of “victim of human trafficking”.
We continue to be inundated with heartbreaking news of children - toddlers to teens - who are exploited online and in our communities. As a result, more Americans have come to the realization that children are being bought and sold for sex in the United States.
As 2022 comes to an end, we invite you to join us in preventing these unconscionable crimes.
End Trafficking before it Starts
We cannot do this work alone. Please consider making a donation to ECPAT-USA today.
With your support, we give students tools for healthy relationships, online safety, community building, and recognition of grooming and trafficking behaviors. ECPAT-USA engages young people in its child protection program, allowing them to take a leadership role, advocating for the protection of themselves and others.
You can also support our organization by donating travel points and miles to assist us in reaching even more communities in the United States, and meeting with legislators in Washington D.C. and across the country, to advocate for the protection of children and support of Survivors.
We thank you for your consideration and contribution.
Sincerely,
The ECPAT-USA Team
