John, against all odds, we EXPANDED our Senate majority. Now, it's time to thank the folks who made this victory possible.
John -- Thanks to your unyielding grassroots support, we did it.
Not only did Senator Warnock's victory secure a 51-49 majority in the Senate, it also bucked a nearly century-long political trend. Yes -- you read that correctly: This was the first midterm election in 88 years that no incumbent senator from the president’s party lost re-election.
Now, we wanted to take a moment to congratulate our senators on their historic wins -- and we hope you'll join us. We need 10,000 proud Democrats to add their names to our card before 11:59 P.M., so we're urgently asking:
