John,
I continue to be grateful for the honor and privilege of representing Northwest Indiana in the upcoming 118th Congress.
Growing up, I learned the value of hard work from my family, including my father, who was one of the longest-serving members of the Indiana state legislature. He represented the hardworking people of Northwest Indiana for nearly 40 years, and he has always been for me the model of a dedicated public servant.
I take my Northwest Indiana values seriously. I ran for Congress to fight for a growing economy, improved access to health care, working families, and the members of organized labor and our steel industry. And I am proud that one of my first-ever votes in Congress was to support the American Rescue Plan, which helped reopen our economy, support schools and first responders, and establish a national vaccination plan – which led to a federal vaccination site right here in Gary, Indiana.
Now, I’m looking forward to continuing the work in the 118th Congress. I will continue to build up our local economy with bipartisan initiatives to fund job training, infrastructure projects, and more. This is an exciting time for our region, and I’ll do everything I can to move Northwest Indiana forward while making sure all workers and their families can thrive.
Thank you,
Frank
