As we've been telling you, Senator Joe Manchin (jerkface-WV) continues to push for his zombie like dirty deal that would fast track fossil fuel infrastructure and harmfully impact frontline communities.

But we haven't mentioned lately that in addition to threatening our climate and communities, Manchin's dirty deal is a huge conflict of interest. Manchin still owns millions of dollars in fossil fuel stocks and earns half a million dollars each year in dividends alone. Of all the people Biden and Schumer could trust and listen to on climate and energy policies, Joe Manchin has got to be the worst.

Which is why it's (still) time to remove Joe Manchin as the chair of the powerful Senate Energy and Environment Committee.

As a fossil fuel funded millionaire, it should be no surprise that Manchin has called Biden's goal of eliminating fossil fuels is "very, very disturbing" and attacked environmentalists for daring to challenge him on climate change.

As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, Manchin is responsible for regulating the fossil fuel industry and has enormous power over hearings on key climate policy issues, key regulators like the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and more. Manchin says he supports an "all of the above" energy strategy – but really he's just a fossil fueled fascist like the rest of the GOP .

With his refusal to support climate action in Congress and continued drive to expand fossil fuels, Senator Manchin is not only putting communities, families, seniors, and children at risk, but he's consciously advancing global warming. It's time to hold Senator Manchin accountable.
