Hi friend, it’s been a busy day around here and I know my Groundwork colleagues have told you we’re working on a fundraising goal. Now there are just a few short hours until midnight and we still have $1,945 to raise to meet our budget deadline. We are depending on our end of year fundraising campaign to help us get things moving in 2023. We have so many exciting programs in the works, unfortunately we’re experiencing a budget gap that could delay our plans.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. Can we count on you to chip in $25, or whatever you are able, to help us meet our goal and stay on track for our end of year campaign?

Hi team —

Groundwork has been busy this year. Between new grantees, visiting our partners on the ground, events, actions, and everything that goes on behind the scenes to make this work possible, it feels like we blinked and 2022 was over. Let me tell you, we cannot wait to fill you in on all that the new year has in store for Groundwork Project — but first, we have to finish this year strong.

Following an exciting 2022 for Groundwork (our first full year since launching!) where we pledged over $2 million in investments in our partner states , we have a lot to look forward to. But to get everything lined up in our states we still have an internal budget gap that we have to close before the end of the year and we’re getting ahead of the deadline by reaching out now.

We have to raise another $10,000 in the next 48 hours to keep us on the right track for the end of the year. Invest in the change-makers and organizations fighting for progress and democracy in our partner states by chipping in right now.

Your investment in Groundwork is an investment in our mission, our grantees, our organizers — our work is only possible through your support. On the ground, our partners are building coalitions and reclaiming power in states the Democratic establishment has all but written off. We’re here to show them they’re not alone.

Our deadline is tomorrow at midnight and I’m counting on you, friend, to help us reach our goal. Chip in now and invest in the local, year-round work of Groundwork’s partners: [link removed]

Your support of this work is proof of the profound change we’re capable of, together.
